Ghassoul, which means "to wash and clean" has been formed for a long time; ever since the earth was a green planet.
Ghassoul was born at the piedmont of the Atlas mountains in Morocco, known as "the country where the sun sets". It was formed in deposits during the Jurassic period in the Mesozoic era, 208 to 144 million years ago. In the Jurassic period, dinosaurs thrived under a mild climate and archaeopteryx came to be. It is obvious that strata were created through the eras under certain environmental conditions. Many years later, a special clay, rich in minerals, appeared.
Ghassoul, with its many stories, is indeed a gift from the Creator.
